This whole month between myself and our daughter Gemma we have been battling random colds and now this week a stomach virus. Then to make things more crazy the one snowy evening my husband fell down our back steps when Dolly one of our dogs tried to take off past her boundary. Then the following night I fell down our old steep farmhouse steps after putting Gemma to bed. ( Thankfully i was not carrying her!)
Now my husband is generally the optimistic one and I am the pessimist. Literally, that glass is most certainly half empty to me and I can argue that all day. (Tyler will agree) Which there is absolutely nothing wrong with being either, it’s all about your outlook and how you see situations. Oddly enough I looked at Tyler after I fell and said gods giving us a sign to slow down. Which is so true. Sometimes you are so caught up in life, even being home sick most of the week you miss the little things.
We have a almost 9 month old who has hit this amazing stage of learning since she started crawling and standing a week apart. Even not watching her for a second you miss something she has learned. Tonight she looked at both of us constantly saying “mama” and “dada”. She then proceeded to say mamememe and with in a few minutes dadadada which completely blew out minds! It’s little things like that you often don’t show down to take in that are in the past in no time.
