Two Weeks

We had a big blizzard here in Ohio on Monday so I didn’t get to post this then. After a very long drive home and running around with Gemma I was asleep in no time at all! Then spent Tuesday cleaning the house from a busy week at work and working late for Valentine’s Day.

So I’m sure many will think I’ve officially lost my mind and others will applaud me! Who knows I may totally regret this decision, but am pretty doubtful of that! As of Monday I put in my two weeks notice at my job! Among a lot of other crappy things I have dealt with at work there is also the fact even though it’s great to be able to take my child to work with me it is hard!!! Way harder then I ever thought it would be, which added to my complete dissatisfaction with work! Thus making it easy to get the heck out and focus on my child which is what I should be doing!

I have been working full time 5 days a week with a child who breastfeeds in tow. Gemma is also now mobile, has discovered her voice and tries anything to get her way! She knows her voice gets her attention and a screaming baby in the background is hard to ignore as a mom. Also as any working mom knows and if this is not the case please tell me how you do it! The house is constantly a disaster!!

After many talks and looking into sitters/daycares Tyler and I concluded the best option was for me to put in my two weeks. We also concluded my happiness and sanity were also important. Which was not longer possible with or with out Gemma with me. Plus having a job that all you do is work and get more buried is not worth missing out on your child grow! We figure I can stay home for a bit and find the right fit of a job to balance things with Gemma and hopefully adding a few more babies one day!

With that being said here is to a lot more farm life posts and to seeing how this stay at home mom thing goes! ……. and how long it lasts! Working moms and stay at home moms both have some crazy schedules that is for sure!!! We are all amazing mommas no matter which! Also possibly superhero’s just saying!

I’m going to be spending a lot more time In Silos View
